    Gaza (New)

I have no other way of thinking than stupid utter fools they are :

Palestinian set fire to gas pipes at Kerem Shalom cossing.

For the second time in recent days, Palestinian rioters destroy infrastructure and equipment meant to benefit them during violent clashes on the Gaza border.
Hundreds of Palestinian rioters vandalized and set fire to a fuel complex and a conveyor belt on the Gaza side of Kerem Shalom, the strip's main cargo crossing with Israel, causing more than $9 million in damages and disrupting the import of diesel fuel and building materials.
According to the IDF, the fuel installation is the only way to bring diesel fuel into Gaza for operating generators for hospitals and other key facilities.

Shooting yourself in both feet usually only causes you even more pain Balan.

Now is the time for the UN to step in and sort this quagmire once and for all.

A proper Two State solution, the "liquidation" of Hamas and Hezbollah, the immediate cessation of Jewish settlers thieving Palestinian land.

The urgent need for Israel, Syria and Egypt to come together and find a lasting solution to the Palestinian question.

    Pigs might fly!

    B T:

''Now is the time for the UN to step in and sort this quagmire once and for all''.

They could not even manage a chip shop!- Thats not a solution!!!

''A proper Two State solution, the "liquidation" of Hamas and Hezbollah, the immediate cessation of Jewish settlers thieving Palestinian land''.

By Israel stating they want secure borders, means some other state would be on the other side,in 1947 Israel accepted a 2 state solution the arabs did not and fought ever since. Israel accepted something like 50 % of desert land then !!! After in Khartom ,the arabs came up with the 3 No's. "The Three No's"; No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel. Sort out that solution?

The urgent need for Israel, Syria and Egypt to come together and find a lasting solution to the Palestinian question.

Syria, to whom do we exactly talk with in Syria? Who will speak for Syria? Remember Syria was 70 % Sunni ,but ruled over by the Baathist party and the Alawites, with the strong arm of Hafez al-Assad. The al-Assad family has ruled Syria since Hafez al-Assad became President of Syria in 1971 and established an authoritarian government under the control of the Ba'ath Party. After his death in 2000, his son Bashar succeeded him.

We have taken the Golan Heights at least the part which now Syrians can not shoot directly on villages and farmers. Assad must be under some pressure in order to talk about any peace deals. He would want those Heights. A de-militerized zone, perhaps by the UN,(chocolate soldiers!) is not the answer, only we can defend ourselves. When the UN keeps peace as in Lebanon, how can Hezbullah have some 106 k missiles in stored positions? They can shoot 1000 misiles on Israel, every day for 3 months!!! ( In theory of course).

IDF destroys Hamas terror tunnel meters from Israel
Air force jets neutralize offensive Hamas terror tunnel in vicinity of Erez kibbutz, border crossing used for humanitarian purposes; tunnel was discovered while still being excavated and was destroyed after weeks of surveillance; IDF Spokesperson's Unit: 'Hamas is killing Gaza.'

The tunnel, the army said, was still being excavated and was intended to reach Israeli land near the Erez kibbutz and the crossing named after it, used as a pedestrian humanitarian crossing. After weeks of surveillance, it was decided to destroy it.

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman added that, "Hamas is spreading slogans about its desire for a long-term 'hudna' (armistice), but in reality continues digging terror tunnels into Israeli territory."

I watched the BBC news last night and all it showed was Palestinian youths firing slings and catapults through dense smoke .. A bit pointless IMO..

Its more than slings and catapults ,its also grenades ,Tiers, pipe bombs, Molotov cocktails and kites.

“Hamas can build tunnels, they have rockets, and now they are using kites? For all of those threats we have something to counter them,”

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh took part in the protests, arriving at the northern part of Gaza border, encouraging the rioters.

Hamas, he said, “will not give up the weapon of the resistance, we’ll develop it. We won’t give up Palestine, from the river to the sea, and we will not recognize Israel.”

The real target of the T-4 attack: the 3rd Khordad system
Analysis: The Iranian aerial defense system created to mimic the Russian S-300 was destroyed before even being unpacked, and the Iranian officers killed in the T-4 Airbase strike were merely collateral damage; Quds Force's commander Qasem Soleimani sought to avenge the 3rd Khordad system's destruction by firing at Israeli bases near the border, prompting the large-scale Israeli retaliatory attack earlier this week.
