Should have made it 4-4 if he had left it for the player behind him to tap in instead of doing a diving header..

Brighton feel the bite of the Premier League with a 0-4 home defeat from Chelsea, Woy see's his side brushed aside by Arsenal 4-1, Everton draw with West Brom and see McCarthy stretchered off with a bad 2 leg break, Gray comes on for Watford in the 60th minute but can do nothing (although he had a good chance) to alter a 2-0 loss, West Ham 1 Bournemouth 1 and Man City beat the bar codes 3-1.

Villa beat Barnsley 3-1, Fulham hit Burton for 6, Weeds lose 3-4 at home to Millwall, wins for Sheff Utd, Boro, Brentford, Sunderland, Wolves suffer a setback at home losing 0-2 to Forest, and Sheff Wed draw 0-0 at home to Cardiff in an entertaining game.

AFC Wimbledon win, the pretend Wimbledon lose at Northampton, Bury, bastids, Bury, Wigan, Rotherham, Gillingham all win.

Swindon, Notts County, Morecambe all lose.

In the National League Bromley win 4-0 at Torquay

Yes Villingham beat Burnsley 3-1, we were always going to lose this today so we move on.

Id like to ask fans on here though, is there such a thing as a 'free game' or a 'dead rubber', where we just dismiss the match because its a difficult fixture or a fixture we never do well in ?.

I'd think so Acido, many a game I've seen with players seemingly "not bothered" and just going through the motions, it annoy me as they are doing something they love and even in lower league's are earning decent money for doing so, not to mention the working man who has shelled out to watch it.
