I fear the next 3/4 games, some reality may be setting in.

Any news on the Wood injury?

Wow must have eaten some turkey and drunk some beer on Xmas day with scores like that

    10-1 8-2

36,000 on the Turf - don’t think they ran buses from Colne then on public holidays.

Bad news we lost 5-1 two days later at OT. Must have had to walk there!

Mourinho has ruled midfielders Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini out for the entire festive period, while right back Antonio Valencia has been battling a hamstring injury lately. Central defender Eric Bailly is a long term after ankle surgery, Chris Smalling also received a knock late in that game.

and 3 goals from Kane - one being a Pen that shouldn't have been (imho)....the second from poor defending and the third, as previously mentioned - a comedy of errors. We were, for the most...bedraggled and clumsy, so was us that dropped a level, or two...and I think - was us that gave them the lift, that and the ref.
I watched a little of the United/City game a few weeks back....the up there's, in that other league....and it looked it, which at the moment, and after the Spurs game, doesn't look good for us - perhaps time for S.D to try something different....and you never know - Boxing day - heads might not be completely back in the game etc.

    Cheers Donz.

Alf here’s a write up about the two games, it seems a young George Best was called back from Belfast for the second game and tore Alex Elder apart.
Andy Lochhead and Paddy Crerand reminisce.
Wonder if the writer saw your clip on here?
