    Dobbie wants new contract

A wonderful Xmas present for us all as a report in today's The Scotsman states that "veteran striker Stephen Dobbie wants to extend his contract with Queen of the South after scoring his 100th goal for the Championship club in Saturday's defeat by St Mirren". Rejoice at the news and hopefully this will be concluded as soon as it is possible. Just brilliant!!!!

This appears to be great news and will stop the likes of Michael Stewart wondering if he'll go to an Premiership club. As I keep telling them, he'll finish his career at Palmerston.
