I would reckon Fordyce would slot back into central defence.

JR and according to your list Kevin Holt is available to talk to other clubs.

    He should be our priority.

Good news about Joe Thompson if true. Creativity and drive in midfield is what we've been lacking.
Tbh if Jacobs is going to be out for a while a defensive midfielder wouldn't go a miss also. Rankin gets found out too often.
I would leave the keeper alone.
A versatile defender who could cover wide and central wouldn't go a miss.

Maybe put Tapping out on loan to Tescos ?

Queens have received a boost ahead of the game at Falkirk tomorrow as Joe Thomson has this afternoon completed a return to Palmerston. The attacking midfielder is initially back on an emergency loan deal and will go straight into the squad for the trip to the Falkirk Stadium.

Manager Gary Naysmith added "I'm delighted to have Joe back with us. He has been training with us this week and has fitted in well again; he was a big hit with the supporters the last time he was with us and I'm sure they will be as happy with the news as I am. His return gives us more options in the middle of the park and he'll provide a challenge for those already here".

Good news as Joe Thomson is exactly the type of surging midfielder we require and the type of player that Naysmith admires with his endless running from the start to the finish of a game.
