It's the nik they get into about any win, this is a St Johnstone side that has been awful at home, not won in their last 7 games at McDiarmid, 7 teams have now won there this season including Partick

22 pts from 22 games and 10th after playing everyone home and away is awful

Where as you have United who are by far the biggest team in the league. Dwarf every other team for budget and spending ability and currently sit 5 points off top. In a league where with their resources they should be coasting to promotion they are falling behind a poor St.Mirren side, that is what I would call awful!! 3rd place becons for United and playoff heartbreak once more.
All the best for 2018 I look forward to the Tangerine implosion non promotion will bring.

Think you'll find we have a game in hand and still have St Mirren at Tannadice where we beat them last month, if we did finish second, means we avoid one two leg , we can definitely win a couple ties, three ties back to back was just a bit much last season

Whereas you lot even as the only top flight side have just struggled on doing nothing but lose the majority of your games infront of wee crowds despite giving a very healthy budget to your recent managers and a big squad
