    time to rally

important fans get behind team in the next few weeks and we dont drop any daft points, esp with fyvie and potentially Fraser and Flood out. Doesnt really matter how we win the next few matches.

As for tonight, that is the most frustrating/annoyed I've been in a while, which I'm slightly surprised at considering I thought we would lose tonight, but I thought St Mirren were bang average on the night, and the real frustration comes from the defeat being self-inflicted.

We bossed the first half yet barely tested the keeper, missed a woeful penalty which was crucial, and then flogged two soft goals (United take note, shooting leads to goals). Second half we ended with a team of dwarfs in the team who continued to play tippy tappy with no penetration.

St Mirren were'nt great, but they are better than the other sides in the division, and were enough to highlight again inherent weaknesses in our side. Have to hope we manage to find some players in the window for key positions, but that hasnt worked out well the past couple of seasons.

How did Fraser get injured and how bad did it look? Might not be so bad if Keatings can come in and do a similar job.

Not too fussed about tonights result as we still have a game in hand and have a game v St Mirren at home. The important thing is we have a game in 3/4 days that we need to go out and win and hope fate elsewhere takes its course!

We now need Briels back more than ever as i think him and Stanton could be the pairing for centre mid.

Over to Shabba and ST to get in suitable players to back em up!

The build up to this game was atrocious, add in a couple of injuries during the game and a missed pen and ask how could we realistically have won? Yes we were pathetically poor but in the same circumstances St Mirren would have been equally poor.
It's one game and half the season is left. As you say we have to rally round the team starting with the Brechin game, not booing and shouting and moaning at the players from the start.

Shabba needs to sign at least four players during the window. A striker, midfielder to replace Fyvie. A full back and another winger at least. St Mirren are nowhere near good enough to dominate this league, I firmly believe that everything is going their way at the moment.
We must get promoted this season and that's it.

I wonder if Harry has any mates who play outfield at Southampton.

A box to Box midfielder is essential, how many times in the 1st half did either winger (McMullen or King) cross the ball for Mcdonald and either McMullan or King to come in and make it 2 in the box, no support from midfeild, we need runners supporting the front guys
