Not going quiet, but neither do i have a silver bullet answer. Unlike our DoF, who is on a 6-figure salary, i dont have a worlwide network of scouting contacts, so i go on gut reaction, for all thats worth.

Funny thing is that despite my lack of experience, lack of a worldwide scouting network of experts, lack of a 6-figure salary, lack of a stellar track record at club's like Middlesbrough, I've called out the stupidity of investments such as Buoy, Kitsch, Pennington, Grot, and of Here (Wiedwald comes to mind), etc etc. The same will apply to the Japanese incomers, and 90% of any other "investments", unless and.until the dogma of "buy cheap from anywhere but the English leagues" changes, no matter who we buy.

well, if you dont have the answer, i dont see much point in complaining, unless of course you just like complaining. Why not just enjoy the fact weve had 14 lucky wins and occupy a higher league position than we have for 10 years, despite the fact that Hernandez, Alioski and Saiz play bottom 6 style football.

I don't like "lucky" as a strategy.

And you were the one who suggested we had had 14 lucky wins (or were you attempting sarcastic humour, I can never tell).

Either way, if the "lucky" results most would agree on were stripped out we'd be mid-table at best.

As said earlier, watch the results from here on, one of us will be proved right.
