If Forest accept that bid we should match it asap and offer him a five year contract.

We were gonna pay that for Noble at the start of the season,so why not?,also age on his side & could be in L1 next season with us

An important consideration: does the lad live in the Notts area?

Born in Notts I believe, so think it's probable he does. Don't know for sure, however.

Exactly, I'm sure we want to buy a striker but losing him would affect the team as much as gaining a new striker. Plus he'll be worth way more than that in a couple of years.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. 'Scoop' Curtis never knows anything until the official club statement and I doubt that the Mirror even know League 2 exists.

However, we do have Noble to come in, along with O'Connor when fit again, not to mention Milson and all the other midfielders queuing up for a chance in the first team. Do we really need to spend 100k on a position we have already got options for ? I don't know but i'm sure the management team will have their own thoughts and i trust them to make the right choice

O'Connor more than likely won't play this season,Milson is now going to see a specialist,so I would imagine he will be out for a few weeks,at least.
Curtis by all accounts (KN)is going out on loan.Starts to leave us a bit bare

As does a bench with Hodge & Saunders on it

If AH and the club has it, we should definitely match the bid.
S****horpe know he's a good L1 centre-mid right now, let alone L2, and who knows how much better he'll get.

I think Forest will laugh at a bid of 100k.

The problem with the trip from Lincoln to Scunny is that one ends up in Scunny.

I think theres s few things in our favour and the biggest I think when you hear him talk is how KN is bringing him on. Id hope to think if he had a choice hed stop
He would want to be at the lane, Im guessing if Forest accepted a bid we would have to match it to get him. Going back to the season where we went up with Bishop and Ravenhill imo the midfield pairing was one of the main reasons we went up, Id say Yates signature could possibly be the most important.

At the moment I would say we have possibly the strongest midfield options in the league.
