Liverpool say he can leave for £35 million.

Or £50 million if you believe The Sun.

Sturridge would do a brilliant job for half a season.

We won't be paying £35m for him so as a short term solution he would be great. If Rafa had his way then I suspect that we would be trying to sign him and others of his quality on permanent deals.

Given the shower of ****e in charge of the boardroom, I very much doubt that we will be seeing him here. Sandro Ramirez, the headless chicken of Goodison will be the best that we can hope for.

    Nice to dream though.

6 months of Sturridge would hopefully be enough to keep us up.

Brilliant if we could get him, like you Billy, i suspect it's now a pipe dream.

No chance we will pay that
Best hope is if they would loan for 6 months with option to buy if we stay up

It just goes to show how far behind the rest of the league we have fallen...
We once broke the transfer record to bring Shearer here

Everton can bring in the likes of Walcott and Cenk Tosun after spending a fortune in the summer
While we scratch around for loans or the bargain bins for players no one else wants.

We have a long way to go to catch up when average players are worth £20 M
