Just a question of when Australia will declare. I think they will post 600 and send us back in.

Aussies trying to bake us in the sun, now 576-5 with lunch/ bedtime approaching. When will they declare, no sign of hitting out, in fact the opposite.

Broad still needs 1 for 200 wickets.
Correction not 200 but 400 wickets

How many down at the close? I don’t think it matters as Australia will wrap this up on day 5 for an innings victory.

Aussies declare at 649-7 a lead of 303 with S Marsh run out 156 keeping England out in 40 degree heat then the dominos start falling so we were 68-4 with Root 42 and Bairstow 17 taking us to 93 at the close.

Broad misses out on 400 and Crane goes for 193 off 48 overs. Most bowlers go for nearly 4 an over but Jimmys figures 34 14 56 1 by far the best 1.65 an over.
Yep outwood it looks like 4-0

Root in hospital suffering dehydration so probably won’t last very long. Just hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Sorry Alto just picked this up. I don’t think so but as runs aren’t significant he may not be bothered. Anyway I see he didn’t reappear and the new ball did for us. 180-9 with Curran getting 24
Jimmy given out when he wasn’t but had no reviews left.
Outplayed and out fought we can look forward to T20 and one day success.
