From Google:-
"Henry "Harry" Cursham, of Notts County, scored 48 goals in the FA Cup proper between 1877 and 1887, a record that still stands. Cursham, who also played two first-class cricket matches for Nottinghamshire, recorded seven FA Cup hat-tricks.
Much more about Harry and his family on the internet and on Wikipedia, which tells us that he is also County's unofficial top scorer with 208 goals. His brothers Charles and Arthur also played for County. A remarkable sporting family from Wilford. Why haven't we heard more about them?
Notts County, truly a club with history.
