    O/T restaurant.

With us not playing for a while I though I would treat the mrs to a nice restaurant
Anyone recommend a nice place to eat. Our regular for Indian is the shapla or Aagrah in Sheffield. Quick meal it's the Elmwood farm or red lion at todwick.. Chinese we always eat at home cos the Mrs is a bit funny

I was going to book the Venus at dinnington though it's a 4 course on Saturdays

    Anyone with a recommendation?

Btw doesn't have to be local.

Living in Ireland at the moment - try www.tripadvisor - at least the feedback tends to be fairly balanced and reasonably honest from the customers point of view

Clayton if your good lady likes Italian I can highly recommend Elupos on Effingham Street.

Attentive service, great food menu and plenty of choice of drinks. Reasonably priced as well.

Been going there for more than 25 years now. Simply cannot knock it.

Last time I was over we tried the Seven Seas fish restaurant at Wickersley. Very good. Also recommended on tripadvisor

None of these are expensive. All nice grub and don't get mad busy, most of the time.

Travellers at Birdwell is exceptional and very good value for money .

The Ash which is through the other side of Wombwell going towards Stairfoot roundabout is also very good and value for money .

    Indian ?

The Royal Spice at Darton , which is the other side of town heading towards Wakefield .

Doesn't look much from the outside ( former WMC ) but inside it's more than ok and the food and prices are exceptional .
