    PHOTO IN STANDARD today 5th January

    Of big Jim Thomson in 2008 receiving a trophy from Davie Rae for his 500th first team start for Queens - never heard of this so can any Doonhamer stattos throw some light on it - personally don't think he even made 400 !

    Big Jim Thomson made a total of 358 appearances for Queens according to the official site

    award must of been for his 300th appearance

    Have now found my own records and 500 is a load of c - - p = the big man made 346 starts and came off the bench 12 times !
