We'll wait until 5 more matches have been wasted and then with a nano second to go before the window shuts we'll announce we've made the free signing of 39 year old Clinton Morisson.

    Pathetic.

In order to buy anyone we have to sell Evans, according to rumours there are a few clubs interested but all of them are likely to wait until later in the window as they know we need to sell and the price is likely to go down rather than up the more desperate we get so i really can't see anything happening until much later this month when it will almost certainly be to late.

We are now becoming quite reviled as a club. It's being said that West Bromwich Albion will not be missed in the Premier League and that we are negative both on and off the field showing absolutely no ambition and being content with just remaining in the top division. What has become of the club that spawned Buckingham's side of the fifties, the cup fighting sides of the sixties, Ron Atkinson's side of the seventies? These are the type of questions being asked. It saddens me that we are being talked about in this manner. I feel that the blame lies fairly and squarely with the ownership and the board. For far too long we have been scared stiff of taking even the slightest risk with owners who are not prepared to delve into the market whether it is for players or coaches.

Let's face it, what player or coach of quality is going to be attracted to joining us? The club is at it's lowest ebb since the dark days of being in the third tier. We've had every opportunity to move forward over the past eight years and have failed to do so. We are now in great danger of being relegated and returning to being completely anonymous. We, as fans, deserve better.

Perhaps it's the only legitimate excuse for not spending any money.
