Whilst i'm glad we've got Berardi to cover, i don't think he fills these big boots - best wishes to Ayling, as i think he's one of our best performers. Sadly now we also lose his ability to cover in centre of defence - i wonder now if the strange decision to play Berardi there at Newport was because TC knew we might need cover at CB in future as well because he was aware of the Ayling problem.

Berardi is a fantastic replacement, and maybe coyle will be recalled as backup

Sickening - thought it was bad losing Saiz for six games - but for me - despite some poor performances in terms of speed at defending a coupe of months ago - Ayling when fully fit is without doubt one of our best players, he is good in possession, gets forward, contributes to our attacking options better than Berardi [Who I also rate] has probably made more blocks than any other player and sets a bloody good example for the other players and the squad in general. Losing him for the rest of the season is probably the biggest blow yet this season IMO.

At least we have Berardi to cover and hopefully the new LB is of a decent standard for this league.

    Agree 100% with all that.
