Cav and Mir on, looks like we are going for it. We certainly don't need a bloody replay.

Mir getting chances and making an impact. Put one in young man!

    0-0 FT

Replay to be played sometime midweek the next couple weeks. Neither side wanted it but neither side could put the ball in the net. But Swans have more to worry about than we do so we can probably put out a stronger side in the replay

A decent enough game as far as one that finished 0-0. Out of the two sides, Wolves always looked the more likely to score. Wolves could easily have gone in at three goals to the good at half time. Bright Enobakhare and Costa both having decent chances saved by the Swansea keeper.

I have to say i was impressed with Morgan Gibbs-White, well up until he had to be replaced following the Vinagre sending off. The youngster can pick a pass, makes intelligent runs and and also had a decent effort on goal.

As for the sending off, at the time it was difficult to see what had happened as the play was close to the Wolves dugout, but having seen a replay Vinagre deserved to go off for the challenge, in years gone by he would probably have only got a yellow.

A word about the referee Anthony Taylor, up until Vinagre's sending off he wasn't blowing up for every challenge, he was allowing the game to flow, which in my opinion was good.

Swansea for me, rarely put an attack together and if yesterday's performance was anything to go by, then they will continue to struggle to stay up this season.

For the second half, the only thing missing for Wolves was a goal. Swansea's only real effort on goal was a free-kick that hit the bar, even now i think Norris got finger tips to the ball. Even now i think Fer's sending off was harsh, a yellow, but not a red.

The introduction of both Cavaleiro and Mir gave Wolves another attacking option going forward, the latter looks powerful in the air and good on the floor. On another day Mir would've been on the scoresheet with a couple of chances. Another mention regarding Costa, i think he's getting there fitness wise and his link up with Doherty is looking good.

Wolves and Swansea do it again in just over a weeks time, it's a shame the game couldn't have been settled yesterday!

The replay will now take place on Wednesday, 17th January (7.45pm). As far as i can gather it will be on BBC Wales, you can view the game on the BBC website as i did for the Newport v Leeds cup tie.
