We’ve clearly improved under csaba and he’s a far superior manager to what we have previously but he’s still not managed to address the main issues we had under mckinnon. Away performances are still extremely poor, we still have no right back (despite seemingly finding the solution to this in ballantyne but only csaba will know why he started with robson there today), and we still have probably the most soft and mentally weak group of players in the division. Also with the improvements we’ve seen has come huge complacency from the players. Last two games we’ve just turned up expecting to win. Difference now is that we have a manager who can 1. actually see what the problems are and 2. (hopefully) has the capabilities to address them. Long way to go still but dunfermline is looking like a must win.

Everyone including the manager had a stinker today, let’s hope that’s the one and only really bad day at the office !

Ok, it was Brechin, but what we finished the game with last week actually worked, and i cant believe that Shabba seems to have made wholesale changes when all he needed to do was replace McMutton. I would love to see what his reasoning was to send the team out as he did, but i expect injuries were part of the reason.

When i saw the team lines, i couldnt figure how the back line were to line up. I actually thought 3 at the back and am now stunned to read Robson was at RB with the new lad at LB. I hope to hell he learns from this and puts Durnan and Ballantyne back where they should be.

I really do feel sorry for you guys who were there today and hope i dont have to sit through the same at Dunfermline next week!

anyone who has seen Utd on the road the past couple of seasons will tell you that was definitely not a freak result, just this season alone st mirren 0-3, Livi 0-2 were two of the worst performances I've seen from Utd.

4 away games under csaba - 1 win, 1 draw, and 2 defeats, and two of those games to the bottom two sides. I honestly dont see how the away record is going to change significantly between now and the end of the season, save your money for watching us get beat in the play-offs.

I'd say definitely a freak based on the season to date, how defining it will be we'll find out I'm the next few games

I doubt we will have a more disjointed team and poor team selection again this season

There are a few factors you can point to for this result (not a surprise we lost the final score)

Bad luck with the injuries recently is the main one, especially season ending ones for our two best players, last time we played Falkirk was our strongest line up, and it could have been ten for us that day!

Not only have these injuries robbed us of our best midfielder who was only gettin better by the week, it's robbed us of our most skillful and creative player, deflated the fans a bit and no doubt the team

We've also had other niggly injuries keeping guys like Flood and Murdoch out at times, just Murdoch alone being out has saw us have to use Quinn more often and put Scobbie to fullback

Murdoch Durnan Scobbie Robson were doing just fine and our defensive record was good home & away and we had started to bang in the goals post Ray and had found a team and system that worked

Hugely significant theses injuries, as though we have brought in new faces (and way too early to judge what like they will be yet) it's more to get a little bit of strength back and full the void that we have lost through injuries as opposed to adding to what was a decent looking side for a couple months there (a side that was the strongest in the division imo), instead the players not starting who haven't shown themselves to be upto much so far like Keatings are coming in and not cutting it, with the new guys not ready either

We need much much better in everyway starting next week, play our best team available in the best positions for them, try and hang in there, building confidence and make sure absolute worst case scenario is second place with a chance at going up (two ties to win compared to three last season)

I can't believe people thought we might be getting the better player out of Murray going to Hibs and him coming here, not even close, Murray is far better player, still thought Keatings would be better than what he has shown though (he's been awful)
