Loan System - Pro's and Cons

Pro's to the receiving team are that quite often you get a better class of player than you have on your books. Cons are that you can become too heavily reliant on players that are not your own . I can't imagine our defence at the moment without Kerr anchoring it . Pro's to the lending team are that players you send out on loan are kept match fit and sharp in a demanding league like the Championship. Far better for these boys than playing reserve football. Cons to lending team could be that those recalled boys could become very frustrated and rather be back out on loan IF they come back to the parent clubs and can't break into the first team. This could be the scenario with the two Saints lads . As in everything, time will tell. Thoughts ?
