He's a solid CM with decent technical ability and takes a good set piece.

Similar to Leonard. Doesn't really make sense to sign both if you ask me. Seems like an alternative to Leonard and the press have made a mistake - it's happened before. But that doesn't explain why he was pulled out of the game today.

yeah you may be right on that one herbie has he played for wigan in previous rounds ? if not maybe wolves dont want him cup tied although ive a feeling theres somat in this especially with samir looking likely to leave

Could have been to pressure on Southend or be the guy we’d have moved into if the Leonard deal fell through.
