    FA Cup Holders Eliminated

Arsenal won't retain the FA Cup this year after being ousted in the 3rd round, the earliest they've gone out in quite some time.
Elsewhere Shrewsbury hold West Ham to a 0-0 draw. while Newport County played it late in a come from behind victory over Leeds United.

Glad there are no superlatives in the OP referring to the defeaters of Arsenal. I haven't seen the line up yet but have been reliably informed that was roughly Arsena's 3rd team.

You can, however, only beat what is in front of you and the Tree Huggers did just that.

I won't mind that and even the heavy defeat that will follow. United had to go beat you with their close to best side following their League Cup defeat. Had they beaten Bristol, they would have probably fielded a weaker side.
