A see Wesley Sneijder has just transferred from OG Nice to a club in Qatar. Balotelli is coming to the end of his one year contract on reduced wages. They are looking to sell their star midfielder Seri. Lost 1-0 at struggling Toulouse at the weekend.

The way I see it
Nice told Sneijder he could leave if he could find a club but they wouldn’t push him . Only played about 4 games through injury , poor form and not fitting in with the way they played . On big money they did the right thing for me with letting him go , he’s not the player he was . His signing showed that the Nice board aren’t afraid to sign experienced older players if they think it will help .

They could only afford Balotelli this season as they were in the Champions League . They’re not trying to sell him they’ve just told him they can’t afford those wages again without Champions League football , but his contract will have run out so he’d be free to leave anyway

Note... Nice currently losing 0-1 in their local derby against second placed Monaco after 6 mins

Thev ed a good run of fixtures against the bottom clubs. Big boys coming up. 11 pts off Champions League, 11 pts off relegation. Will lose Champions League income next season which has allowed them to limp through this season. Not the global name the fans were anticipating.
