Definitely if we can get him. Always thought he was good player and he’s got a bit of grit which is what we need

Would be ironic after he played on with those broken ribs to stop us getting promoted last season

We need players who have these qualities naturally. Trying to instil it into softies leads to an unwelcome injury list and players who don't want to tackle.

Is the fact that Murdoch been out injured for a while affecting everybody's memory?? Murdoch is absolutely ****E! The chunt wouldn't have got in to watch us train a couple of years ago ffs!

dunfermline will be a tough game. since we've been down weve won 7/8 games v them so they'll be up to change that record. they've had a decent turn of form with 3 wins in a row so they will fancy there chances but united need to show a reaction! prove that it was a freak result and that they are genuinely sorry for the rubbish at falkirk.

for me the team would be

    lewis
ballantyne (murdoch if available) durnan scobbie robson
    stanton slater flood king
    keatings mcdonald

The amount of booking,s we accumulate at the moment if we're not getting stuck in,imagine how many we'll get if we do.
(Not saying they have got stuck in though).

    Lewis
    Murdoch Durnan Scobbie Robson
    Flood Slater
    Stanton McDonald King
    M.Smith/McMullan

Deniz Quinn Ballantyne Mason Keatings Lyng M.Smith/McMullan

McMullan did ok up top early season and M.Smith did well in a few games when Ellis was incharge , Keatings hasn't shown enough yet

I think I’d have McMullan back in for this one.

It’s the club he was at last season and hopefully he can put in a good performance

Funny how after his sending off some on here were wanting Mcmullan left out as long as possible as he was useless.then after the new boys were thrown into the firing line a bit early in my opinion .we now really need him.which to be honest I agree with as although he is a bit of a hot and cold type player we sadly missed a player brave enough to run at a defence with the ball at his feet last week.

Yep. If he plays that boy from Watford at LB, Cardle will have a field day.
