Last year I hoped Newell would start to move in to middle and be ready to take over from Frecks, but having seeing him play there he's not up for it. To be fair he's not up to playing in general.

I've just seen some stats on Frexs career with us

In the games he was in the team we won 43%
In the games with him not in the team we won 18%

Seen Wiles once in the checkatrade, also Hinds in that game. Could see both could step up. Manny & Bray were in the same game, could see they weren't good enough. Seen Bailey-King for bout 1/2hr but could see he had something.

So was a 6 figure price good business or not? I would rarthrt he stayed but high earner and hopefully cash to reinvest hopefully.

For a player who has a max of 20 games left at the club (deff leaving in summer)and will prob only play 10 of those games then it's a brilliant piece of business. Timing of it when were just outside playoffs is a bit meh.
Tbh home town club or not I thought frecks would have preferred 1 more shot at promotion. ESP if it was via a trip to Wembley
