How do you make the game more attacking

    Simple alter the points system

    4 points away win
    3 points Home win
    2 points score draw
    1 point goalless draw
    0 points for loss

Surely this would encourage teams to attack more instead of trying to park the bus every week like pulis did

Why not make the points incentive for winning even greater?

Nice idea but I think Football was far more entertaining pre PL, and at that time it was 2pts for a win.

Fear of relegation from the big money league has stopped entertainment imo. The great disparities between the clubs finances hasn’t been a great positive for the game either and neither has been the huge wages that these PL multi millionaires now earn.

Think we’d have 23 points now

Well Jots I just watched Chelsea vs Arsenal and any team in the Premiership that doesn't see both teams as beatable simply has no ambition.

One obvious answer would be to revert to the old way of playing with five forwards, three half backs. two full backs and a keeper. They tried to up the game with the present points system that we have now but professional players will always find a way to dumb it down...too much at stake for wide open games now, the games are exciting if the teams are well balanced as they were even under Pulis when he was in charge, we took Leicester completely by surprise at the amount of attacking we did. We will get a lot more of that now...it's going to be alright...the future is Navy Blue and White...
