RIP. We used to call him Wild Shot, due to his willingness to shoot from anywhere! Not many went in, mind! So sad to hear this.

Sad news. Went out with "Glash" several times in the mid 90's. He lived in Bramley when he was down here. He once tapped me for a lift to Arbroath, I was going to the east coast of Scotland anyway.

RIP mate. You were taken far too early. God rest mate.

PS...he got my boys, two of them, shirts signed by the team. And on the way back we rocked up at Montrose for the first game of the season. Walked up to the ticket office and said "John McGlashan has organised us some tickets". This guy walks up and gives us a tour, and met the chairman. The boardroom had great thick pile carpets. The ground, Links Park, wasn't the best though.

    Thanks for the memories Glash

Sad and unexpected news. He was on the subs bench in our Autoglass Trophy Final victory at Wembley.

    RIP

Very sad news about one of our former players and 50 is too young.

His family must be devastated, bless them all.

    RIP John.
