I second that Terry. And as a wee bit of PR for the Trust, for only £15 pear year, supporters not only help with United’s youth development and associated charitable causes, but they will also receive information from the Trust.

    Not bad for £15

I'd rather donate to local charities aff my ain back than give a penny to these ****s!

Complicit in the slow killing of our once proud club but folk still think they serve a purpose!

I don't think any of that is true. I don't know any of them personally but in my experience the Trust board members all have the club at heart and are passionate about it.

IMO the Trust may suffer from the same problem as so much connected with the club which is that ST is in charge of the club!

Can only think the Trust members as volunteers are doing their best and trying to help

There does seem some dispute between the different supporter groups which I can’t think is helping anyone- except maybe ST as any opposition to him may be divided

I always wonder why people who are most vociferous in criticism of the trust board don't just stand for election and change their strategy to the one they want.

    It's not that hard.

This isn't directed at you specifically DD. For all I know you may have tried to do just that.

Only takes 6 or 7 to get on their board and change their policies to the ones you want.

I think thats spot on. Whilst i probably admit they are yes men and seemingly not very effective influencers they still are involved. If others could do better then full steam ahead. Isnt the real problem just the man in charge full stop?

As a further question what factions/memberships etc do we have and what power/influence do they have where - is there anybody that could summarise that (i will hae a look on website too). So fed, trust are official ones - friendsreunited or whatever being unofficial - i must say i lost interest in all of that primarily when i moved away from dundee. Be interested to know.

From an outsider and a non member of the trust its easy to ask and question what they do? They were there when we were selling off our assets, they were there while Mr A was galavanting in OZ and they were there when ****namara and co were running riot on the bevy yet nothing was done, no interventions, nothing said. Why? Maybe they didnt want to rock the boat

Their website says theyre the 3rd largest shareholder and to quote - ArabTRUST has an Associate Directorship on the Dundee United Board of Directors to ensure the views of our members are represented. well im not a member but i know plenty guys who are and they all had the same concerns as us circa 2014/15.

Alot of questions need to be directed at AT too but they seem to avoid everything if, your not a member...

When it comes down to it.

I think there are two very broad categories.

There are those who want the club to change ownership as a matter of urgency.

And the other that agree in need for change (as indeed the trust have) whilst not denying fundraising support, time and energy etc.

That's a broad description. Both perfectly legitimate views.

    That's my reading.

Probably too broad to be fair.
