Lots of criticism when trying to do something for club you love. Thats any fed, trust, judean peoples front etc leader.
I agree with this, but the Trust, like United itself, suffers very badly with a lack of PR

I'm not in the PR business but I do know that the way in which your organisation is presented makes a massive difference in the way that it's perceived. United would do well to cut a budget somewhere to get a really good PR person in place. Possibly the Trust feel they can't put funds to it, or more likely feel it's none of anyones business except their paying members. By failing to engage with the press and public well, neither organisation does themselves any favours imo

I find, as a member, the Trust communication is pretty good and informative.

I second that Terry. And as a wee bit of PR for the Trust, for only £15 pear year, supporters not only help with United’s youth development and associated charitable causes, but they will also receive information from the Trust.

    Not bad for £15

I'd rather donate to local charities aff my ain back than give a penny to these ****s!

Complicit in the slow killing of our once proud club but folk still think they serve a purpose!

I don't think any of that is true. I don't know any of them personally but in my experience the Trust board members all have the club at heart and are passionate about it.

From an outsider and a non member of the trust its easy to ask and question what they do? They were there when we were selling off our assets, they were there while Mr A was galavanting in OZ and they were there when ****namara and co were running riot on the bevy yet nothing was done, no interventions, nothing said. Why? Maybe they didnt want to rock the boat

Their website says theyre the 3rd largest shareholder and to quote - ArabTRUST has an Associate Directorship on the Dundee United Board of Directors to ensure the views of our members are represented. well im not a member but i know plenty guys who are and they all had the same concerns as us circa 2014/15.

Alot of questions need to be directed at AT too but they seem to avoid everything if, your not a member...

Interesting about 3rd largest shareholder. Not sure though they could have done anything proactive about the Oz trip or mcnamara as i am sure they were given limited if no information? Sounds like p!sh leadership so exactly as PF has stated who is challenging this?

Sure they do loads but being 3rd largest shareholder (which could be 0.5% all i know though) they should be communicating via media etc. They probably are but then im one example of spending 1000s on this club a season and not noticing. Issues i think.

I will say there are lots of posters on here who i know are die hard arabs with great and not so great (mainly mine) opinions. do the trust do a q and a and do they actually answer?

    Just thinking oot loud.
