Thread: Smith Signs

Supporters at AESSEAL New York Stadium have seen Smith in action this season, when he was introduced as a second half substitute in the home clash with the Shakers back in September last year.

I was there for that one, don't remember him.
Only threat that day seemed to be Beckford.

    Welcome and good luck.

I know it's not the most inspiring signing but let's see him in action before we make a judgement on him, let's not slag him off before he's kicked a ball. We can leave judging players we haven't seen yet to gwru.

Iíll judge him when heís had a chance to play for us.
I know thatís not the norm but what the heck.

This could well be a very good signing for us.

Smith has needed a good run in a side for a while now and really has not had one at previous clubs.

He is the type of player that could do really well here and would also work well with young Yates.

Hecky just rang his agent and he's just coming over for a little chat before he signs .

He's a good age. He looks the part. Playing in a better side could be better for him. Open mind, don't know anything about him. See him play, give him a chance. JCH starts against Oldham for me. Did enough coming on in the last game to be given the chance.

The biggest concern for me is,he's had more clubs than Tiger Woods ffs,i am all for giving the lad a chance before making a judgement, but as we all know Millers fans don't have much patience.

Was he at bury when Richie Barker was there? Just wondering if Barker has seen some potential in him!

Welcome aboard Michael, show us what you can deliver and you'll have the fans singing your name in no time.

Give the lad a chance first before you knock him. Many a player perform a lot better when joining a new club.

At least Warne has moved fast to replace Keiffer Moore.

I hope he has the same effect has a certain John Galley, on his debut.

Some times players do better for one team than another. Pope proved that when he moved to port vale. Now that was a waste of money
