Fat Sam wants to offload Keane.

Another player who left the Clarets and immediately went downhill.I think Ben Mee made him look better than he was.Good bit of business though!

I'm not surprised, Koeman was playing him isolated in a back three, after half a dozen games of that he looked shell-shocked.

    .

play was/is mostly deep and busy with us - perhaps then.... if he's playing higher and loses close support or hasn't got the speed then he'll suffer - as can't cope - is that whats happening ?

When he was playing for us Norder he had Lowton tight on his right and Mee tight on his left, and only rarely would he find himself exposed. In the games I saw him playing for Everton he was often isolated facing a player running at him with no other Everton defender in sight. He gave a very good impression of a man who had just woken up, and found himself in the middle of Brunshaw Rd with no clothes on.

    .

So perhaps....theres a price to pay - after immersion into S.D's pattern of play - it being so - I hope Keane is allowed the space to uncondition himself.
