    Mad isn't it?

An away point, yet another clean sheet at a struggling team fighting against relegation and it almost seems like a defeat

Again it just shows the standards we have set this season.

FT...well that's it folks...0-0. could have been worse I suppose, but every team has to have an off day, this was one of ours. No doubt the Tykes will be celebrating a point well earned.

I couldn't have said it any better, Newcy, but you're right it does seem like losing two points rather than gaining one.

In reality, they were unlucky not to get a draw at our place. If you are a Barnsley supporter, you must be wondering why you are near the bottom of the table, Are the players not putting it in every week?

Disappointing result, could not follow the game as I have been laid up with the flu for two days, what a bummer that is. Just dragged myself out of be to look at the score.

As stated above, could have been worse, we will be OK in the end.

And by the way Grizz, next time keep your bleeding Aussie flu to yourself mate.

I'll echo that. Caught that bug on a P&O Xmas / New Year cruise. Just about recovered. You bl**dy Aussies certainly know a thing or two about germ warfare (and cricket !!!!!!)

Flu has been bad around here too. Hospital emergency rooms have to been shut down because of so many coming in for it. Children not allowed to enter hospitals (unless they are sick).

As for the game, disappoint to not score two matches in a row (counting FA Cup). Would love to get Bonatini back in form. Hasn’t scored since Brum match.

Welcome to my/our world eh Abbo lol.
I remember most of you were honest enough to say you were lucky to beat us 2-1 with that stoppage time winner this season.
And if you want to know what we really think about our team and why we're struggling... well I bet your guess is as good as ours.

How long was it before your new owners (new at the time) started spending real money on the team ?. We're mid-way into the Jan window now and all of us want some statement to be made in this window, and you've got to spend to improve havent you. That goes without saying of course.

In reply to the comments of Woody, Wolfie and Mich........If it makes you feel any better, I've been coughing up my lungs since late September (I kid you not). My own case is exacerbated by a pre-existing COPD condition(too many fags in the old days), but you do have my sympathy, mates.......get well soon

It was one of those game where if both sides carried on playing now neither would score. It was just one of those days, but not for the want of trying. Barnsley, especially in the first half never gave us any space and closed us down when we had the ball.

The first half was a stop/start affair with the referee continually trying to be the star of the show, i've got no complaints with the yellow cards he showed to both Saiss and Jota. But i would like to see is more consistency, having already been booked Mallan committed another foul, the referee rightly waved play on, but failed to return and show the Barnsley player a second yellow. Chances were limited for both sides with Neves firing over and Costa's disallowed goal, a quality finish as well.

Wolves seemed to be more up for it in the second half and enjoyed a lot of the ball. Jota could easily have bagged a second half hat-trick. It's difficult from the replay to see if he or Costa was offside for the second disallowed goal. Jota's effort against the bar deserved a lot more, and less can be said about his near post miss. As with quite a few of the recent games Wolves have played the introduction of Cavaleiro gave us more going forward. I just feel as soon as Wolves introduced Rafa Mir that we should really have tried to get a few more crosses into the box for him to get on the end of.

An off day, but thir**** games unbeaten.
