How could he have gone for the money? He wouldn't be earning any different if he was here still. If he had a pay rise in his new contract with Forest they would have paid the extra money (if we were paying 100% of his last wage) as our agreement was already set with his previous wage. Yates would earn whatever his Forest contract says regardless of who is actually paying him the money.
