Good performance today. The pole still looks behind pace and the only good he did was to get us some free kicks. Gave the ball away badly. Hegazi is looking really solid, what a great buy he was. We will REALLY miss Jonny evans when he goes. Rondon caused lots of trouble and you cant help feel that because of him our goalscorers had more room, he's a real handfull. Still tons to do, we have to stay focused and not sit back for the full 90 and that's for the whole season. Its up to the players now and how much they dont want championship football next season.

Much needed that. Only 2 points from safety. You would think, after such a long run without a win, that we would be well adrift.

You would Chris, that's thanks to all the draws. The results went very well for us tomorrow because our rivals shared the points. We need Man U and Arsenal to live up to their "big team" status tomorrow and we can look to next week.

Good performance. To be honest not much different from the past few - but we at last got the luck today. Brighton buzzed around our box but no quality in final third. Reckon they will struggle to stay up. Positives. Rondon put in a shift and on another day could have had a couple. Krychowiak is improving all the time - does all the simple stuff well and could turn out well in second half of season. Barry had a good game. Back four looked solid again. Thought Philips and JRod were anonymous. Foster had nothing to do all day. Still 15 games to go and the players are still up for it - seemed good team spirit. Got to mention the crowd - sounded like awesome support - wish I was in UK. Were those maraca things given out for free?

Thought the best moment of the game was when Rondon slipped arse over tit trying to defend and sold a dummy to all the players and everyone in the ground! Priceless.

In a post match interview AP described Rondon's contribution as 'incredible'

Great to watch a real team effort for the coach...and the supporters...
I thought Rondon was a real handful-unlucky not to finish with a brace...
Also, superb stuff from the back four-and I hope Evans stays at least until the end of the season...this will show APs skills in negotiating with Jonny despite the pressure...
I really like the attacking intent we saw last night under Pardew-it's starting to gel-hope the injuries to Evans and Dawson are only a couple of niggles...
A huge congratulations to all concerned-thoroughly deserved and great to watch!
