Agree weegie but also happy to be proven wrong. He is Lee Millar in disguise at times. No doubt he will fight like hell. Its a fair point about wingers.

If he stops falling over that would help.

Last season we provided Tam with 1 cross and he scored. I recon Shabba will cut his falling over ****e out, he’s a good striker for this league IMO. However I will take a tried and tested reasonable striker than a gamble. Would of preferred a pacey impact striker/winger

As part of 2 up top could be a positive - lyng is more of a wide front player - och if its to be fine and hope he scores the winner to clinch the title

Never go back. We never learn our lesson.

If only we could get Dowser and make it a double deal...

In all seriousness he was alright for us but not great. If we go with him and McDonald up front they might just form a complimentary partnership.

Hopefully in the past 6 months he’s learned how to win a high ball in the air and not immediately collapse to the turf upon any contact...

The main importance here is we will have competition for places up front, that can't be a bad thing.

Agreed, if Phil and Scotty could weigh-in with 15+ goals between them it gives us a chance.

We do have the players to put decent delivery into the box now, and Phil (from memory) was better at attacking cross balls than the long aimless punts upfield.
