    Flu?

Seems like we may be getting the flu. We’ve both got wobbly legs coughing and sneezing.
    Anyone else .
Need to recover for Saturday !

    .

the virus is spreading.....I know many that have it, or have had it.

and seems like it's a particularly nasty bug that's slow to clear....high doses of Vit C and the odd hot toddy could help.

Good luck with clearing it - Colner.

    Hope it clears Colner.

I used to get a lot of flu when I was a smoker 6 years ago, not so many now, Matron has the flu jab every year but I don't, to me there is something not right about it.

Had the jab though I don’t think it contains the Aussie strain. Thanks for the good wishes. It’s the Russian Ballet and Swan Lake tonight so hoping not to cough or sneeze or fall asleep!

That's what I was told when I had mine OC, yet the papers are full of panic stories about Chemists running out. But if it doesn't protect us against this Aussie strain, why the panic ?

Me and Mrs 59-60 had it just before Christmas and it was horrible. I'm still feeling the effects.

We live with my Dad (89) and my mother-in-law (93).

Thankfully, they haven't had it (yet!)

I had the flu jab, which covered the Aussie version, last week. I was only a mere 64 years old when I got the lurgi so I wasn't entitled to the jab when I got the bad cold/flu/man flu.

My Dad has never had the flu jab but he seems immune from colds etc.

As for ballet, it has always looked like pseudo ****ography to me...but the music is great. Glad you enjoyed it OC. Where was the performance?
