    Queens v Partick Thistle

Despite struggling for a team I’m still looking forward to our Scottish Cup 4th round tie against Partick Thistle. The Terregles Street End won’t be open for this but Queens have given Thistle another section of the new stand and they’re excepted to sell all their 1,000 allocation. This Cup is where the money is made so we desperately need for the home fans to turn out in bigger numbers and would be great for Queens to progress

Seriously though , I so hope the team can rally and fight every tooth and nail minute of this cup tie. We have a desperately thin squad but here's hoping whatever team we can dredge together can give us something to shout about . To Naysmith , I would say that we need every experienced player in the squad come Saturday so by all means, let bygones be bygones and bring in Lyle and Stirling.

Tomorrow we will know who the referee is going to be.

Lyles still injured and Stirling is being made an example of due to his attitude

Can’t see the fans rushing to Palmerston this weekend unless we sign some players.

Could be a few Partick fans in the home areas as they’ve only 200 tickets from second allocation left to sell.

Very concerned about the back line for Saturday. Will Beerman or even Fordyce ( if over injury ) come back in to start ?Both these lads will be lacking match fitness but could well start out of necessity. Who partners Brownlie at centre back ? Is Martin fit ? Discuss

Unless we make more signings or get those players fit it time we’re really in trouble . Lyle could replace Kane ( if fit ) and Fordyce for Kerr ( again if fit ) Stirling was disciplined for his pathetic actions at half-time last weekend. That’s the last thing in the world we need with such a small squad

Could be an embarrassment on Saturday unless we strengthen

Why spend all that money on upgrading the terracing if you’re not going to open it ? Either that or give them even more seats in the new stand . Season ticket holders will just have to move from their usual seats unfortunately. When it comes to cup games that’s the rules
