Martin surely has to go anyway, hes not the right fit here anymore and weve got 3 of em scoring goals already. Martin imo doesnt fit any style rowett has, hes not used as a battering ram up top, doesnt have the pace for our counter attacks. 1 goal in 20 odd apps is hardly worth keeping. Leeds wont want to pay more than 3m though?

Take 3m then... a big wedge of cash off the payroll and hes barely playing, still less scoring. Who knows how he is impacting squad harmony

For 1.5m he's not breaking the bank. Proven scorer with approx 1 in 3 tho this season not so good.

If we cash in on Martin we will be cash positive on fees and wages with Jerome coming in.

Rowett likes to rotate his forwards, run defenders ragged for 60-70mins then introduce fresh legs.

The deal doesn't really excite me but can see Rowetts thinking.

Jerome hasn't been an injured player very often. Only had 3 injuries in his career and has missed 2 games in the last 8 years. Add that to his CV and you can start to see some sense in his being brought in as an impact sub. Especially if both Coldplay and Bent are on their way out.

Not to mention the 5502 derby fans who were there..... 5500 in one end and two of us in the Stretford End. Even singing in the Trafford pub post match.... we got some funny looks for that
