I agree we might only need another, say 17 but as I posted elsewhere, we've got all of the current top ten to play and in the 10 games we played them in we managed 1 point.

To bastardise a sporting metaphor, we can't afford to drop the ball ANY more....but we've got butter on our fingers and are wearing a blindfold.

My estimate was another 13 points till the end of the season - and I was trying to be optimistic.

Mind you although we've not had much success we have usually played a better closer game against the top teams as opposed to the ones around us.

Point is we've lost valuable points to those in the drop zone which we should have had instead of them.

It's those sort of results which keep your rivals up and relegate you.

I think Pboro is right (for once ) naming Huddersfield. They have a crap goal difference and I reckon they will go on a bad run. There's always a team mid table who appear fine then drop. Lets just hope its not us. Our him form is a BIG worry though.

That was Huddersfield's problem last season. Their goal difference, while Rafa took us up with a goal difference of 45, Huddersfied were on -2 which was the worst G.D. in the whole of the top half of that division

if we don't get anyone in-and I mean a goalscorer-we will go down.

We've seen it all before, man.

And the worst of it is, the team are playing for the manager which means they can't raise their game by trying harder. This is the best we've got and, imo, it's not going to be good enough.

Which, considering we've got a Chimpo team playing in the Premier League, is hardly surprising. Staying up with this squad would be a major achievement.
