    Please Rafa

Please Rafa, if Ashley comes up with some cash and you get more from player sales don't buy 3 or 4 more squad players which you then use one game in 3. It really doesn't matter if Tweedledum plays or Tweedledee. They're both at the same level. We can create chances but we can't score goals. The obvious remedy: spend the lot on the best striker you can afford. If you don't do that, and we keep losing 0-1, don't come up with the excuse 'but I've only got a £5m striker'. We don't need more jokers to shuffle the pack with. We need quality players even if we can buy them only one at a time.

That is the correct answer for the future Occult and well put.

Following promotion Rafa was only able to adjust and shuffle the squad with what he was given and what he had.

Not a cat in hell's chance of even trying to get his number one selection in, or even no.2 or no.3.

If and when funds are available, from investment and sales of players, who need replacing, then if we were able to get up to three better Prem quality players in per window then over three windows there's most of a team replaced with also the eternal hope that a new discovery (too much to hope for another Gazza) will break through from the local lads in the junior ranks.

    Oh happy days.

If, as reported, Rafa intends to use whatever money is available in penny packets to buy 3-4 more players of the same quality as we bought in the summer, then we're down. Yes, he should be given more money ( probably every manager of clubs 10th downwards wants the same ) but in the absence of that you have to spend what you've got wisely. Rafa is unlucky in one way for having Ashley as the owner but lucky in another because nobody holds him responsible for results -unless we win, in which case he's a genius. ( If we draw or lose it's Ashley's fault for being a miser. )

The first three words in your post are the most relevent..

    "If as reported"

Do you honestly think, for one moment? Rafa phoned a journo up and said "right this is what I'm going to do"

Chillax man!! in these troubled times, wait till theyv'e got the shart on before passing judgement..

I agree, we need a quality striker now and focus whatever money we have on that. We aren't playing that badly IMO, the chances are there to win the matches - we just don't want Gayle or Joselu there when it's time to bag 'em.
