What would be really interesting is if he did walk and results under a new manager did not improve ( quite likely because the fixtures from now on are going to be tougher ) would all those who have blamed Ashley for everything suddenly start blaming the new manager even though he had the same squad as Rafa.

If he doesn't get the players we need in Jan I can see him going day after the window shuts - I wouldn't blame him.

If he does get the players he wants and he keeps us up - I think he'll go in the summer.
