Will someone please tell our recruitment department that there is nothing to stop them completing deals before the last few hours of the transfer windows. It happens every time, summer and winter.
Surely no one is under the impression that we can be confident of staying up if we don’t get some new quality players in. If we had got our business done quickly, like say Everton have, we could have had new players making their debuts this weekend just like Everton will against us.
