Several championship clubs sniffing, at a fee around 4m mooted. A nice tidy profit in a short period. Will venkys back mowbray and keep him here? Really hope so, but they can get back all their recent expenditure by sacrificing just a single player. I have no clue, as ever, what they will do.

I still think he's only likely to be interested in a PL team, unless the deal a Championship club offers him is massive.
Even then, BRFC has to be very happy with the transfer-fee. I should think Mowbray is bending the ear of the Venky's representative on a daily basis.
The last thing he wants, I'd guess, is to see his carefully assembled team suddenly have a main cog removed.
All the same, we all know how offers get upped and upped as deadline-day approaches and under-pressure managers get desperate.

Losing dack would be very hard on a team almost reliant on his guile and hard work however everybody has a price and when a team pushing for promotion to the premiership like wolves/cardiff/Bristol city/villa come calling the possibility his head could get turned
I really hope this isn't the case and the deeper into this window we go the more inclined I would be to put a stupid price tag on his head
We have Armstrong and Payne who could slot into his role so we wouldn't be in the mire but don't get me wrong I would rather him stay than 5-7 million in our bank.
