    Great news!

But he must be around 2 months away from being available?

Honestly? On recent performances I would rate Pope 6.5 - 7.

Over the last four seasons I would rate Heaton 9.

    Hurry back Tom?

The best goalkeeper we've had for years.Pope is hopeless. The sooner he's back the better.

Great news he is back in training, doubt he will be rushed back. Been good for Pope's development and he's been admirable.

Agreed ! I doubt we will see him this season unless pope gets injured . We need him back when he is 100% .

Popeye is doing a fantastic job for us,but I also think Tom should get is place back when fully fit..

Although Pope has been excellent since being thrown in at the deep end somewhat there is just something about him that doesn't fill me with confidence, often I find myself thinking he should have held that instead of it being parried back into the danger area which luckily he has got away with. No doubt he will be all the better for his run in the team and will be an asset to us in years to come but Tom just gives me a little more confidence.

Pope's kicking off the floor is Sunday league standard at best and Billy Mercer needs to help the lad sort it out!
