If that had been us,I would have been fuming the ref didn't give a penalty ..Thought it was cast iron one on Willian..
I'm hopeful after tonight - and even better if Willian gets a retrospective ban. Even those mug pundits may have to rethink what is a pen

It seems the pendulum has swung full circle after tonight's game, now it is O.K. to put your hands all over a player in the penalty area and get away with it.
I'm phucked if I know the rules anymore, and if I don't I'm sure most of the players haven't got a clue either, the FA need kicking into touch soon as.
Hands all over, or touch a player and he's straight down. He's buying a pen and it's cheating. If he is chopped down or dragged down - fair pen, but hopefully players will play the game in the correct spirit with this and try to score proper goals. Personally I feel hopeful we can move on to a 'mans game' and cut the crap......
It is all part of FIFA's plan to make the game a non-contact sport. In the last 25 years they have messes around with TLOG so much that there are now so many grey areas which nobody seems to know how to manage. The introduction of VAR will aid their quest because it will undermine the officials on the pitch and give the pundits more ammunition to further their agena --whatever that is.
Everyone is clamouring for 100% correct decisions to be made, however, the use of VAR means that you are just adding another opinion --but only at the top level.
I fear for grassroots football and the development of officials because the players, or worse still, their parents will expect to question every decision.
The Laws of the Game are the same at International level as they are at grassroots and the referee's decisions should be respected ---I fear that we are losing track.
