We should have brought them both here at the time.

Wouldn't surprise me if they both end up here Pat. Good young players & look to have the right attitude.

the intention was to go back for the other one at a later date.

whether that is still the intention, whether he wants to come, and whtehr jacob will want to stay. is another matter

Right there too. They are the sort of lads you can start to build the future around. Improving youngsters with good attitude and willing to learn.

Think it was just over £10 mil with add-ons to take it to £12 but, aye, he's had a slow start. However, he's shown a lot more promise in the last few weeks and i think he'll be good for us.

He looked unbelievably talentless in the beginning, but he was probably nervous and getting used to new surroundings, etc. Naturally, Rafa wouldn't sign someone with no ability at all, and I'm happy to see Murphy looking a much better player than he did in the beginning. In fact, he's looked so potent that maybe he should start ahead of Ritchie in the next few games...

Oh, aye. Ritchie has played like a drain for ages. His workrate hasn't dropped but, then, Gouffran worked hard too.

I'm just hoping that Ritchie clicks back in and we get the good Ritchie, preferably who scores back.

Bugger about the Brighton game, hopefully they rested several players who will be chomping at the bit and they Brighton a thumping.
