Carruthers? I've heard the same. Apparently Sheff Utd were prepared to let him go to Charlton as part of the Holmes deal but Charlton wanted the money instead. I was impressed with him in the pre season friendly against them, thought he was their best player on the day. Not the biggest though, somebody won't be happy...
