Just seen on FB that they have completely sold out at Notts. County. Top gate expected tomorrow for many years. FULL. 19,841 is a fantastic gate for the fourth tier of English football. More cheap ticket offers should be offered. They probably would if the PL allowed some of their cash to drift down to the smaller clubs.

That isn't necessary Mick as all they have to do is to reduce the prices like they have. Obviously they could not afford to do it so low but it sends out the message that football prices for lower league matches are just too high.

There is nothing stopping us reducing the Gresty Road end to five pounds as we get so few in there now and so it would increase the atmosphere in there and probably would not lose much when food is taken into account and even if there were, it would not be significant to what they pay into the academy.

Yes, I know, CAFC don't do goodies for fans and never have even when they got all that money from two wembley matches and TV...

    Mean sods!

A bit harsh to single Crewe out!
It's not like County (or any *other* club for that matter) do this sort of thing on a regular basis.
But yes, definitely a lesson learned.
The GRE could certainly do with some sort of injection to get it back to where it was in our Championship days - and what better way!!
