    Chelsea away.

Usually I'd get the bus, but it's a 1.30 Sunday kick off so I'm thinking about driving down the day before.

Anyone got tips on where to stay?

When I go to London I always stay outside the city. The Ethorpe Hotel in Gerrards Cross is just off the M40 (junction 2 I think). You can walk (5 mins) to Gerrards Cross trains station from the hotel and be in to Marylebone station in 30 minutes. Fulham Broadway tube is the nearest to Stamford Bridge - about 30 minutes, I´m guessing, from Marylebone on the tube. (Get a travel card which´ll do for the train and tube for the whole day).

I never take a car into London if I can help it.

Thank you both. Never been to SB before, I didn't realise it was so far into London.

It's not far from King's Road Stan, in fact parallel. When you come out of Fulham Broadway Station just turn left and follow the crowd. It's only about 300 yards.

    Enjoy the win.

Last time I was at S.B. I saw Puskas in an exhibition match when we joined the E.U. He was in his 40's then and many stones over round but I'll never forget the silky skills.

Thanks Bill. Is that him who could juggle a bar of soap on his foot, like a football?

I've got the option of staying at my Sister in Laws in Plumstead. But she reckons it's about an hour and a half by public transport from hers to Chelsea.

Talking to a lad on Saturday, he said him and his Mrs did an away trip to Chelsea, two nights in a hotel, couple of meals out, 800 quid for the weekend.👎Needless to say.......
