i totally agree that winning cups is more important than finishing 2nd.
    Always have, always will.

I would like to hear from anybody who thinks finishing 2nd is more important than winning either League or Scottish Cup.

All the same finishing 2nd is not to be sniffed at, it means we are winning more often than not.

Nothing at all, that’s my point.
Others consider it a less exuberant cup, especially since European qualification is no longer achievable through it.

Indeed, plus 2nd guarantees Europe and rubs the noses in to the “unwashed”

Order of preference (assuming league is outwith reach)

    1. Cup win, achieve achieve 2nd
    2. Cup win, achieve European placing
    3. Cup win, league place irrelevant
    4. Achieve 2nd
    5. Achieve European placing.

Bit cauld for Capaldi's ice cream just now mind.

How the fk East Fife lost baffles me?

Brora played like Wimbledon in the 80s brutal fitba but effective,

Agree they will be away at Rasellikfitbaclub in the next round.

Did McInnes declare that St Midden where the best team we have faced this season?

Who cares if you don’t qualify for Europe by winning a cup. Winning trophies first should be the priority...getting into Europe is easier done when your team is winning things anyway.

Since Russell Anderson stopped playing. I really liked Mark Reynolds but unfortunately cringe when I see him play now. Time to move him on for the benefit of both parties.

He was still good with Taylor in the 2014/15 season when we only conceded 33 goals which is our best defensive record in recent years.

He has seemed to go to sh*t since his shoulder injury at the beginning of the 2015/16 season.I think he is still ok as a backup I wouldn’t want him as a first pick.

    A little harsh I think.
Sure it took 20 mins or so to settle down but did St Mirren really trouble us after that? A new partnership I suppose.
Reynolds also did well to get back and block Cammy’s (I think) Square ball after Shinnie and Considine were caught out from the back heel down the St Mirren right.

Thing is, who plays on Wednesday as our two CH’s?

    Arnason & McKenna.
O’Connor will get put in to midfield.

    Think DM will go with

    Lewis
    Logan Arnason McKenna Considine
    O’Connor Shinnie
    Christie McLean GMS
    Rooney

Assuming McLean hasn’t been sold obviously.
