    Always good to win.

Happy with an easy match at home for next round - save the big teams for later

we won and thats all i want to say about the game - well apart from lyng has some great movement and that new boy unlucky not to score! Inverness at home next round

edit to say Kadded is his name - he could be a first team striker and not one for the devs!!

it was quite a boring match to be honest, Baltic too by the end. 2-0 was probably harsh on Alloa, who missed a sitter in the first minute. We scored from a set piece, then Lyng scored with a decent strike with the aid of a deflection after a nice run by Stanton, but in truth there was little football played today, reminded me at times of us under McKinnon last season. Nobody stood out, although the young French guy who came on looked ok, was showing for the ball a lot as well as looking for balls played behind the defence to run on to, was decent effort when he hit the bar.

Yeah, we're basically going into the 2nd half of the season with a new starting 11. If they can gel quickly, we have still got a good chance of the title. If not, could be that we're play off fodder. And we all know how that can end!

We have got to play every game like a cup final. The title and automatic promotion is EVERYTHING.

Good summary JUSTaway. Endorse what you say about the French boy, a very energetic cameo, looks like he might be something different.

Ground is 5-10 mins walk from boozers. The ones in town, from closest:

The Thistle - Closest to ground. Won't have food on as the cook is ill. Has a lounge and has a guid bar. Not huge but not wee either. Think The Balmore... 5-7 mins fae ground
The Old Brewery - Big Belhaven pub. Big TV wide range of booze. Does food 6-8 mins fae ground
Crams - Guid, tiny pub. On Candleriggs. 8 mins tae ground
The Bobbing John - Huge Wetherspoons boozer. It does have Sky, maybe not Sports, but the TV is a tiny wee thing. Does food.6-8 mins fae ground
The Star - Guid boozer in town centre. Right next door to the Bobbing John. 6-8 mins fae ground
The Station - Soulless pub on Primrose Street 6-8 mins fae ground
Peppes - Celtic-minded pub in town. Opposite town hall. It's a dive but if ye need to wet the whistle... 8-10 mins fae ground
The Royal Oak - Guid pub, attached to a hotel. A bit wee and furthest away from the ground. Maybe as a last resort, but it has a pool table and a good vibe. 10-12 mins fae ground
is their a lad Gordon Jagler hae a pub doon your way

I'd take Aidan Connolly back right now, still at York, we need someone creative to fill the Fraser void
